Meet the Scholarship Winners

Dr. Joy Cherelle Morrow, a recent Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from Campbell University is a non-traditional student, single mother, and a living testimony who has proven that with will and determination, anything is possible. Dr. Morrow started working in pharmacy as a certified pharmacy technician since 2005 and after several years of hard work, is now a pharmacist. She will be completing a NCODA, medically integrated, oncology pharmacy residency with Tennessee Oncology for post-graduate education.

Savannah Moody, PharmD completed her degree at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in Chapel Hill, NC. She is originally from Harrisburg, NC, and attended undergrad at UNC Chapel Hill as well. She has accepted a position as a PGY1 Acute Care Resident at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC, set to start this summer. Her interests currently lie in cardiology which she hopes to use to improve patients’ quality of life through medication optimization.

Audrey Shultz is a recent graduate from Wingate University School of Pharmacy. She plans to start her PGY1-ambulatory care residency with the Asheville VA Medical Center this summer. Audrey is passionate about many areas of pharmacy, including diabetes management, women’s health, and outpatient anticoagulation. Her short-term goals include obtaining her CPP and teaching certificate upon residency completion. Her long-term goals include precepting and teaching pharmacy students in conjunction with a school of pharmacy.
